Rossi, 31, proved positive for the dorzalalymide, a drug that can usually be found in the medicine against glaucoma following the match of Serie A between Genoa and Benveto on May 12th.
A one-year suspension has been proposed for the assailant, who is said to have denied ever to take eye points, which is usually managed. This substance is forbidden by Italian authority, unless a player is suggested by the doctor as an integration player.
The trial is scheduled for October 1st, and until then the former Italian attacker, who is now a free agent, has not been suspended.
