Thaci sjellë Delawies: Kosovo to be your second home

President Thaci today has organised a farewell ceremony for US Ambassador Greg Delawi, where he has thanked the ambassador for all he has done for Kosovo, calling Kosovo lucky to have friends as Ambassador Delawi.

“honoured Ambassador Delawi, Kosovo is fortunate to have friends and supporters like you, with your work, with your dedication, you have devoted every day, to a Kosovo what the citizens of Kosovo want, to rule even better, to rule of law, to an even stronger economy. You are committed to a more internationally consolidated Kosovo for a more beautiful and clean Kosovo”, President Thaci has stressed.

President Thaci has even talked about dialogue with Serbia, which according to him, reaching a peaceful agreement, is the only possibility for EU and NATO integration.

We are aware to enter the European Union. NATO, but in other international institutions, we have to reach peaceful agreements with Serbia, so we are committed to finding a compromise with Serbia, to ensure not only recognition from Serbia, and sitting in the United Nations, but also to ensure our European perspective”, President Thaci said, and added that he knows it will not be an easy process, “will be the difficult process, confrontational process, pro is the only way to move forward, building a good neighbourhood, for the Euro-Atlantic future of Kosovo and the European future of Serbia, as well as for the Western Balkans.

Similarly, he said that for NATO membership, the military should be formed, and continue to work on founding the Kosovo Army.
