President Thaci's political adviser, Ardian Arifaj, has confirmed that the head of the state of Kosovo will travel to the United States this weekend, adding that only then will the agenda of his meetings be made public.
This development may be considered expected, after statements issued a few days ago by White House Chief of National Security adviser John Bolton.
Bolton, speaking to reporters in Kiev, Ukraine, had indicated that American politics would not rule out territorial corrections if both sides worked with each other to reach a comprehensive agreement.
In addition to the border issue, US and US President Thaci Trump is taught they will also talk about bilateral relations and developments in the Western Balkans region, with particular emphasis on the process of dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia on reaching the historic agreement.
