The news made it known about “Famitsu” Sony's deputy chairman, Hiroyuki Oda. The year 2019 will be the eighth year of the life of the console, which for the first time went to market in 2011.
“Essentially, we don't have plans for a new device being held. In Japan, we will produce PlayStation Vita by 2019”, Oda said.
PlayStation Vita has sold 16 million copies worldwide, much less than normal PlayStation, which sold 80 million copies.
