Environment and Spatial Planning Minister Fatmir Matoshi has hosted today the Executive Deposit of Regional Water Enterprises, <x0Pristina”, “Through a media communiqué, it becomes known that [...]
Through a media communique, it becomes known that under these agreements, regional water companies (KRU) in the five-year term will pay their old debt 10 years to MMPH of 1.585,654,370 euros starting this month by 20 percent to continue four more years, with 20 percent of the pay.
At the signing ceremony of the Matosi memorandums, said, “the purpose of these agreements is programming and write-off of the debt accumulated from 2007 to 2017 of these companies”.
He further added how MMPH is interested in all those who exploit water resources to fulfil their legal obligations, but are also to help them develop their capacity to extend the network and maintenance.
Matoshi also stated that Regional Water Enterprises (KRU) cannot be equipped with water permits from MMPH in case of no 20 per cent debt payment in September.
On the other hand, Chief Chief Chief of the CRU “Pristina”, Ilir Abdullahu, has said it is good news to start paying the tax until he added that the debt will not be paid again.
The memorandum has legal obligations and we will support it, and this 10-year-old debt will be carried out in installments for five years. I don't think we'll have any problems, we're expecting support from the Ministry for whatever problems we have.
