Prosecutor Blakaj responds to Haradinaj after calling him chicken eater

The former special prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo, Elez Blakaj, who resigned two weeks ago as a result of the threats accepted for his work, has said Prime Minister Haradinaj must understand that no one stands above the law. In response to charges the prime minister made to him when he called it “heim to [...]
In response to the allegations the prime minister made to him when he called the chickens “hain” and “pistric”, Blakaj said he respects the fight Ramush Haradinaj has fought but indicated that the sacrifice of the Kosovo Liberation Army makes no sense if all citizens are not equal before the law.
My response to Mr Haradinaj is that, he and everyone else should understand that my duties as state prosecutor have been fully competent. I want to inform citizens that all the people involved in this case, who have been interviewed, have been treated equally. Prime Minister Haradinaj must understand that no one stands above law”, Blakaj said in an interview for the show Justice Vow.
I have respect for Mr Haradinaj and for all those who have fought, but I believe the sacrifice and war of the NLA doesn't make any sense if our citizens are not equal before law” Blackaj said.
Blakaj has also said he is located in the United States and that his resignation has been deliberately offered to protect his family after receiving suggestions that his safety and family are in danger.
I actually have tourist status, now it's motivated me more for my future. I have to make a decision because I'm here with a family. Now I've been in the States twice, because I don't feel safe coming back and I'm threatened. I haven't personally faced anyone, and five bucks I don't give up on this case. But under these circumstances I have to be more careful”, Blakaj said, Inseder wrote.
Blakaj also said he is in consultation with his family whether he will return to Kosovo or not.
I never thought of working or operating outside my country. Now I need a family consultation to return to Kosovo or not”, Blakaj said.
