Correcting the borders between Kosovo and Serbia is a Belgrade's desire to raise tension in the region as a verifiating diplomacy, thanks to Russian support as well. So writes on the social facebook network, Diaspore Minister Pandeli Majko, recalling that it is Serbia's profession to create instability, referring to history. As former defence minister, Majko says no military would advise Belgrade's intervention in Kosovo.
According to him, it is time for all to react as the Russian effect on the Balkans could bring a real crisis, as according to the minister Russia does not do business but prefers chess.
Majko's full response:
COMM STATE RIVING SIT T SERBISE...
Memory is an uncertain function in dealing with history. She doesn't appreciate the repetition.
Serbs are understanding when they want instability. This is a “profession” that history has known. But, there is currently only one official Belgrade wish to raise tension in the region as a verifiating diplomacy.
President Vucic at the press conference yesterday asked distant questions. Why should we refrain? That's my question for the EU. Please, Mogerini, Cocijan to explain to me what to contain?
The same Vucic in late August in Vienna declared that “... We consider Kosovo a free country... we want to do something for our people. We want to bring something good for Serbs and Albanians. ”
The chief of the self-called <x0);zyra for Kosovo” in the Serbian government held public lectures yesterday on history, recalling the situation prior to the Israeli- Egyptian conflict.
Belgrade's policy has taken on the appearance of its prime minister, where presentation and content are two different things. Serbia has a professional administration to explain to the heads of state what happens if the Serbian Army intervenes on Kosovo state territory. This state is under NATO protection. This intervention would not be “correction”. It would be a conflict a military planner would not advise.
Europe is known for its lack of action but not response. Serbia's intervention in Kosovo would produce a domino effect that would bring about the intervention of major powers. This intervention finds no explanation with the history of Egypt's conflict with Israel.
The main problem of American politics and the West is emerging with the “Qualification of Syria”, which is undermining balances in the Middle East. The coalition of Syria and Serbia has a close relationship.
Serbs are displaying the diplomacy of “Force” due to Moscow's support. In 1999, a group of Russian fascists took over Pristina Airport. If Russian uniforms were to come from Nis base and be placed on the Mitrovica bridge “in peace protection”... That would be a real crisis. But nobody wants protagonism after that.
Russian politics doesn't do business. It prefers <x0shiah”.
The question that Belgrade politicians have to ask themselves after that is difficult. You will have to assess whether a regional conflict will suffice you “the Assad status”. And it's about an almost integrated region in NATO and the European Union where you shouldn't think it's gonna be the “Israel “
Memory is the most uncertain function in dealing with politics. It does not give you a complete reflection of events but helps you to create a reflection of yourself.
Serbian politics is on a difficult day. The reason is the simplicity of what's coming. This is an unpopular request in Tito's former Belgrade. Being a common land of the East and West no longer works. The true drama of official Belgrade is the inability to be the former Yugoslavia. This situation does not go through with scrotum. It is not the first time that Serbian politicians have been hiding weakness with showy strength.
If Belgrade wants to correct its regional status, there is another way. It does not go through animosity with Albanians or ethnic divisions. A century of history is enough to prove this. In the end, this is a Serbian decision. Last privilege for someone at the crossroads between peace and conflict. Of course.
