The idea of rock territories is the most tragic idea for Kosovo citizens, while any agreement with Serbia is measured by Mitrovica.
So said the “Lo with Borders at the table: War or selection in the Balkans”, which is organised by the Commission Life in Kosovo.
Vetevendosje Movement Chairman Albin Kurti said Kosovo's borders should be considered of the Republic of Kosovo, and no person according to him has the right to discuss at the table.
According to him, President Thaci's statements on redressing the borders and that the agreement will be painful tends to return in 2007 when we did not have defined status.
This person, after six years of unsuccessful negotiations, claims he has the magic wand to solve the problem with Serbia. I believe it's about two autocrats, about Thaci in Kosovo and Vucinqiqi in Serbia who are treating the state as their home, which in fact doesn't belong to them and they have a bit of a job, you know, people treat like their families ... The two autocrats have intimated to us in the middle of life in the feudalism period where kings are concerned about national territories as if their lands had only remained for Thaci's son to marry Vuciki's daughter, and we are just like we were once four or five centuries ago, said Kurti.
Present at the table was the head of the parliamentary group of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Avdullah Hoti, who said the idea for exchange of territories stems from the leadership of Serbia, is the idea of Belgrade and Moscow, not west.
He further added that the LDK is not against dialogue but demand that the solution be made in a wise way.
Hoti the idea of exchanging territories has seen it as a tragic idea for Kosovo's citizens, which according to him does not bring recognition or membership to the UN.
“It is a fact that we in northern Kosovo do not have full control, we still have people and criminal gangs that terrorise citizens in that part, the power of Kosovo is extended to several segments based on the agreements that have been reached in Brussels in recent years, but not completely that now does not give us the right to enter into negotiations to review the state of Kosovo and put on the map that part of the country...13.25 Change of borders is neither a creative idea to choose this, it's a bad idea and it's harmful, and above all, it's an idea based on the creation of the ethnic state”, Hoti said.
Hoti also said we are stuck in international recognitions, but which, according to him, does not mean that the revisor should be fully revised to the state of Kosovo.
Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Enver Hoxhaj, on the other hand, has invited opposition parties to join the government's negotiating team, but not to get on the topic of what will be discussed in Brussels for dialogue with Serbia.
According to him, the attitude of The PDK is that there is no division or correction of borders and no territorial exchange.
“Whoever is interested in pushing Kosovo into the final phase of citizenship, completing sovereignty and the final phase of dialogue on my opinion should have this approach, we should vote or support the Kosovo negotiating team, I guess it's your duty as a civil society to invite to the political consensus, not to talk about what will be discussed in Brussels... the final step is the approval of the negotiating team, the second step is to reach a political consensus where we invite even parties to the opposition as we've entered into the process to become part of the process, and the third step is to take over the country's decision, where we take it out of the mandate, and when we get the decision to take it out of the 311.
He added that the discussion should start from the two dimensions of the failure of the Ahtisaari Pacos, for Kosovo's north and Kosovo's UN membership, respectively. Ibishi/
