Spain's attacker and Atletico Madrid, Diego Costa, has withdrawn from the national team because of family reasons, which is believed to have been dealing with the constant threats he has received because of his choice to represent the Spaniards.
The former Chelsea player was invited by Louis Enrique, months after he played for the National in the World Cup, where he scored four goals.
The Spanish Federation, however, have confirmed that Costa has withdrawn from the national team because of family reasons.
Igo Aspas, who was also part of the World Cup, has replaced Costan for future matches in the League of Nations.
Enrique will lead his first match as Spain's coach against the Three Lions on 9 September and against Croatia on 11 September.
