Thus, the Croatian midfielder has been sentenced to eight months in prison.
But the court gave him the chance to pay the prison for money. Modric will have to pay 400,000 euros to avoid imprisonment, which stands at 250 euros a day in shape for eight months.
Balkan footballer had collaborated with a company in Luxembourg in which he had been hiding his income for several years.
