This change of the preliminary decision has come after US suggestions for Kosovo institutions, in order not to raise tensions between the two states.
“The request has been reviewed and the route is approved in line with official demand and in line with rules for the visits of senior officials envisioned with the Brussels Agreement”, it is said in the new response of Kosovo institutions that have returned to the Serbian side.
Sources within Kosovo institutions suggest that the Kosovo side has been in touch with Western partners over the decision all day.
On the other hand, Serbia's president, Alexander Vuciq, at a media conference, has indicated that tomorrow he will visit Gazivoda Lake.
