Kosovar becomes French hero, saves six residents from floods

“The storm began about 4: 00 a.m. on Sunday. I went to move my car because the water was growing very fast, but at the end of the road I saw a woman trapped in her house”, starts confessioning Shehu.
After seeing the woman locked inside the house, Florim Shehu abandoned his 205 Péugeot car that he was trying to save from the flood and went to save his neighbors in the neighborhood.
Upon arriving at the door of his house, Florim realized that the woman trapped inside the house was not alone. Her husband had gone to a store and she was with her two children, including a one-month-old child”, reports Florim Shehu, inseder.
Despite major flooding, Kosovo's asylumman managed to save the three people who were trapped inside their home and had taken them to the house where he lived. The apartment where he lives from September last year with his wife and two children is located on the high floors of a building in the village and was not affected by the flooding.
Right now, Florim asked for help from a friend of his from Paris. He asks the Kosovar to help his family living in the village of Change.

By the time he saved the other people who were trapped in their homes, Florim's car was carried by water and ended up in the river.
However, Kosovo's action did not stop. He also rescued three of his Ukrainian neighbors confined to the first floor of his residence. Because of its high water level, Florim could not open the apartment door, so he went through the windows, and he also took out three people who were trapped in this apartment.

While living in France for three years, Florim Shehu has applied for asylum in the Mayenne Prefecture. Still no response from French state officials, but after this heroic act, the municipality is willing to help him.
