At least 20 companies including Uber, Japan Airlines, Airbus, Boeing, NEC, Toyota, ANA and Yamatodo are preparing the guide for the flying vehicle project.

The Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry for next year has allocated a budget of $40.4m for the private sector to support the production of batteries with performance, engines and other equipment that will be used in the flying vehicle.

Under the project, the flying vehicle is expected to enter the market in 2020.
