Oliver Ivanov's widow, Milena, has said her husband had never sought protection. She has reacted to statements by Oliver's family lawyer, Oliver's brother, Aleksandar Ivanovic, who the previous day declared that Oliver Ivanov had sought protection after feeling repeatedly threatened.
In Ivanovic's statement, it is said their own uncle, who had said Oliver Ivanovic had sought protection from authorities in Belgrade, Pristina and internationals.
“E know. I have reported to everyone in Belgrade, Pristina and internationals. I didn't want anyone to say anything. Everyone has known everything”, Oliver Ivanov told their uncle, a statement he broadcast to Serbian media, lawyer and brother Oliver Ivanov, Aleksandar Ivanov, writes.
In response to this, Milena Ivanovic has said that Oliver has never sought protection for him or his family who have lived in Kosovo.
He talked publicly about the situation he was in and about, of course, everyone knew. He fought with honor and sincerity for what he believed.
