However, none of them have come out for cleansing in the northern part of Mitrovica.
Matoshi said during the opening of the action that today he is marking two different events but that they are getting very close to each other. International Cleanup Day, as well as International Carless Movement Day, in which he and Bahtiri crossed a bicycle trail in Mitrovica.
Mayor Bahtiri, the other side demanded that citizens keep the country clean. Thanks to all for the participation, he said Mitrovica would be transformed instead of all seeking to visit.
While action co-ordinator “Cleaning Kosovo”, Luan Hasanaj said a large number of people have not expected it and added that when it is clean, it is healthy, and there is good and European society.
Otherwise, a large number of citizens have been joined in the action, all mobilized to clean up the city.
We remember that Mitrovica has problems with illegal garbage dumps, and some are seen around the Iber River, especially in the northern part of this municipality.
