The company has said the attackers were able to detonate vulnerability in an option called “See how” [View nor] to take control of people's accounts, writes Periscopi.
The break had been revealed Tuesday, Facebook said, and immediately informed the police.
Users who could potentially have been affected were offered the opportunity to rekey Friday.
