Former Minister of Dialogue Edita Tahiri has called on the Kosovo Assembly to say no to the idea of correcting the border with Serbia.
She has said that the Assembly has historic responsibilities to stand up for state territory and borders.
In an interview for the newspaper “The new era”, Tahiri has expressed optimism that all parties represented in the Assembly will vote on changing the borders of the Republic of Kosovo.
It has estimated that the movement of borders in the Western Balkans destabilises peace and stability in the region.
Tahiri has stressed that historically changing borders is made of war and, according to her, there is risk of moving towards war.
It has declared that the idea of correcting the central border has northern Kosovo.
