Before becoming known, Bowie, even though he had ambition to become saxophonist, had agreed to be the main vocalist of the group “The Conrads” and had recorded a demo tape at a small studio south of London.
In the demo, the late singer is heard singing “Never dreamed” while studying where the song was recorded did not assess the potential of his voice.
For more, the band “The Conrads” did not pass the audition of the recording house, so a year after Bowie left the group.
