Cyprus and Egypt Reach Agreements on underwater Gas pipeline

Cyprus and Egypt today reached an agreement that allows them to build the first underwater gas pipeline to transport natural gas from Cyprus across the Mediterranean to Egypt before it is redealed toward Europe. The pipeline will carry natural gas from the Cypriot underwater source “Aphrodite” to Egypt, which transform it into liquid natural gas.
