But this motto was missed today by Agim Bahtiri, the mayor of Mitrovica, who has wanted to use the VV's motto to promote mitrovicas to the protest. In saying that a people does not submit to a person, they have said that a people do not subject to a people.
“Today, at the mobilization rally organised in Mitrovica along with VV leader Albin Kurti, we explained to the citizens why we should protest on 29 September, because a people cannot submit to a people”.
