Ahmeti made these comments before the residents of the Jelina municipality, where, under the campaign for the referendum, to be held on September 30th, he was informed by the citizens of this municipality to come out and vote for the country to join NATO.
DUI Chairman Ali Ahmeti, in his case, suggested that on September 30th all citizens of the Republic of Macedonia should be responsible and conscientious, as this is a joint Albanian-Macedonian mission.
Being a NATO member is not measured by the number of residents the state has but there are all equal, where you can also exploit veto rights. On September 30th, no losers -- September 30th -- win the Republic of Macedonia, earn the citizens of this republic, thus gain lasting peace, stability, security and NATO membership within 15 months -- win the start of membership negotiations with the European Union in June next year. All ministers of nearly all European Union states came to us to encourage our citizens to vote on September 30th for NATO membership,” DUI chairman Ali Ahmeti said.
Word before residents of the Jelina municipality had the chief of central staff for the referendum by DUI, Atilla Rexhepi, Environment and Spatial Planning Minister Sadula Duraku and former head of the Jelina municipality now in the role of Chief of Staff in the municipality of Jelina, Fatmir Izairi.
