The auditing mission ) D G The AGRIBAR, which visited Albania at the 24-27th September 2018, confirmed the meeting at a satisfactory level of conditions set out in the Financing Agreement and readiness to start its implementation.
EC representatives will propose the decision-making level granting grants to farmers and interested businesses.
Officially, approval is expected to arrive in late October, enabling and opening calls for funding value applications totaling 71m euros from the European Commission's budget and co-finance 23m euros from the Albanian per capita budget, extended to 5 years.
Program The IPARD was approved by the European Commission's decision on July 20, 2015. The programme aims to support farmers, agricultural economic enterprises, including co-operatives, food processing stabilizers, physical or legal persons, micro-takers and small invisibility enterprises to carry out investments for production and processing in the milk, meat, fruit-food, protection plants and vineyards sectors. The programme also aims to support investments in Aquaculture, Natural Tourism and Rural production and renewable energy production. Indexs and targets predict that approximately 750 investment projects will be supported at the end of this programme and around 800 jobs will be created.
