AAK MP Shumbin Demaliaj, who had recently been interviewed by former special prosecutor Elez Blakaj, during the investigation into the growth of veterans' lists, has said that no one can stain the KLA's emblem in Dukagi, nor on the trains where Albanians live.
He has reacted through a Facebook status after his father, Bajram Demalij, dead and buried with higher military honours as a former KLA member, is listed on the lists of false veterans, saying the KLA's most devoted soldiers are being declared fraud by former prosecutor Elez Blakaj.

Honored KLA fellow fighters
As I have repeatedly directed to you today, I am telling you that with honor and pride, I have served my homeland and will serve for the rest of my life. I truly love my homeland and no one with accusations and blackmail, and with assaults and insults will stop me from working for my country. I have told you, fellow fighters that no one can stain the KLA's image in Dukagjia or all the trains where Albanians live.

Otherwise, Kosovo's Special Prosecutor has on Friday filed charges against former 12 members of the government commission for verifying the status of KLA war veterans Agim Ceku, Nurredin Lishtaku, Sadik Halitajha, Shumbin Demalijaj, Qele Gashi, Shukri Buja, Ahmet Daku, Rrustem Berisha, Fajik Fazliu, Smajl Elezaj, Fadil Shudj and Jashitari.
The Actakuz was set up in August by former prosecutor Elez Blakaj, who left the post and went to the US after saying he had received threats regarding the investigation of the fantased war veterans' lists.
