U n EFA aims to put it into use WAR (Video Assistnt Referee) since this season's quarterfinals in the Champions League, after the success this technology had at the World Cup in Russia.
The decision will be made by the end of this month.
Board of Directors U n EFA has been looking for a way to get this technology into the Champions League for reviewing influential incidents in the outcome of the matches. They have come to the conclusion that the easiest way to make the VAR presentation in this race will be from the quarterfinals.
U racing committee The EFA is expected to recommend the use of the VAR in the Champions League next week in Monaco, where the Steering Board will meet. The final decision will be made at the end of this month.
The biggest problem facing U. EFA in terms of the use of the VAR was in terms of the workforce required to observe the eight matches held on the same night in the group stage. Moreover, some stadiums do not have the necessary equipment for this technology.
That's why, UEFA is expected to make the decision so that the VAR can be used only by the quarterfinals phase, as only a overnight match is played at this stage.
