The “Basca fair we can at”, has been attempted to be hampered by some people who are suspected of setting off plays at the entrance of the fair.
Following this incident, Kosovo chief TEKA's Kosovo office chief Hasan Burak Ceran, Deputy Interior Minister Abdulselim Shkodra and members of the Kosovo Police have visited the fair today.
Deputy Prime Minister Shkodra has said there were allegedly two persons who caused this incident and have promised that such a thing would not be allowed to happen again. He has said such cases could not disrupt the alliance between Kosovo and Turkey.
The country's <x0IInstitutions have taken all necessary action and the same are being operated rapidly, in order for all organizations and all institutions that conduct activities such as this fair, to be provided with adequate security so that people can develop their activity in a state and a normal environment. For all the evildoers who dare challenge the institutions of the country and through these acts, we deliver a message that their time will be short and will receive the punishment they deserve. We are partners with the institutions of the Republic of Turkey, we consider one of the allied states of Kosovo, and as such we will treat them. Nobody dare test the alliance or security between these two countries”, Shkodra has said.
And the chief of the TEKA office in Kosovo, Hasan Burak Ceran, has visited closely businesses that are conducting activities at the fair and has said he will fix the damaged parts.
Of course, the pieces attacked, we're going to do a shift on the part where it's damaged, today it's going to be a” shift, Ceran said.
While Sannie Hyseni, one of the participants at the fair, has said that preparation and opening of the fair has been okay, but, according to her, the police should be more present, because, as she has said, she is feeling endangered.
Well, these last two incidents that happened, all members here fear. Most of us can imagine what will happen later, it could happen to bring or bring us back... so that they have a lot of material, and they're also dangerous and they can take the risk of being more”, Hyseni said.
The <x0/Basca Fair we can access” opened on 15 August in “Zahir Pajaziti” Square, in which women's organisations, women in business and other individuals are promoting their traditional products.
This fair was organised with the support of the Turkish Agency for Co-operation and Co-ordination TIKA in co-operation with the non-governmental organisation “Rona”, and will last until August 19th 2018.
