Slovenia's President Borut Pahor believes future EU members must resolve their bilateral disputes before accession.
The one for Vienna's Die Presse, with the case of optimistic tones that can be heard at the European Forum in Alpbach regarding dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, said this optimism is needed.
There are problems and they require a comprehensive and patient approach”, Pahor said.
He considers the EU's fair approach to countries to resolve bilateral disputes before integration.
“I have two messages for countries in the region, the first is that problems with neighbours should be solved, the second is that it is necessary to implement the agreement,” he explained.
