“I can say that it will be a destabilising factor and a tragedy for our people living south of the Iber” Serbian priest told the weekly newspaper éVreme Rancho.
According to him, the model exchange of territories resembles the policy of ethnic cleansing that took place during the 1990s in the former Yugoslavia.
“It is no wonder that Thaci's and Vuciqi's idea of exchange for territories also supports one of the ideasologists of ethnic cleansing in the former Yugoslavia, Vojislav Seshel”, says Sava Janjiq.
He says it is even more tragic and disturbing that this idea of exchange of borders is supported by some international representatives who do not see the negative impact this could have on the region and Europe.
“This thing will spur even more extreme nationalist movements”, Janjak concludes.
