B92 writes that Radomir Laban had escaped from prison in Serbia after being convicted of corruption, while in Kosovo by the decree of President Hashim Thaci he has become part of the Constitutional Court, Periscopi writes.
Serbian media wrote that Thaci's office has published a photo showing Laban and the other four judges taking the oath before the president.
While, he has cited Reuters reporting with sources within the Serbian police.
“He is a person wanted by authorities in Belgrade. There is also a warrant in Interpol, and if you leave the state, its name will be presented at each airport”, those sources of Reuters from high circles in Serbia's Police have said.
Laban will be one of the nine judges of the Constitutional Court in Kosovo, filling one of the countries destined for minority representation.
Laban was sentenced in Serbia to six years in prison for corruption as Serbia's customs official.
It has held only half the sentence during the judicial process, between 2006 and09.
Then he was released. After the indictment was handed down to him, he was called upon to suffer the rest of the sentence, but had fled to Kosovo.
And in Kosovo it has found paradise, it has become a judge. /Periscopi/
