Prosecutor Elez Blakaj writes publicly: Chief Prosecutor rebuked me for inviting Kadri Wessel to interview

Prosecutor Elez Blakaj through a status on the social network Facebook has revealed the reasons for his resignation. Blakaj has said the reason why it came up to his resignation is “Extreme politicised management”, where high profile cases are very hard to pass. He has also admitted that he has been [...]
He has even admitted to being threatened several times. Blakaj even says the State Attorney has called him to account for why the Speaker of the Parliament, Kadri Wessel, has invited him among the witnesses.
The extremely politicised management and threats he received while investigating the huge veterans' lists are turning out to have been the reasons for leading Prosecutor Blakaj to resign. That's how Balakaj himself said, through a post on the social Facebook network.
Blakaj has said his resignation has two orders: protest and message.
As a message, this applies to colleagues, that at no price do we dare sell our principles and dignity, before our career promotions, or for our superiors, salaries we don't deserve, different threats, other low-incentives, etc. Because with our approach from the servile, we are contributing to the destruction of our country and the hope of building a legal state, effort and sacrifice of many generations, with the support of our friends (don't leave us without them) who are losing them every day and more”, he said.
Blakaj says chief state prosecutor has asked him for an account of why the Speaker of the Parliament, Kadri Wessel, has invited him among the witnesses.
This is his full post:
Dear colleagues, friends and citizens,
Driven by many public reactions and influence by my resignation, I have decided that through this address to explain the reasons for my colleagues and extensive opinion.
These days I've seen and read different scriptures and heard different interpretations about my resignation. I have not responded because, as I have announced in a special letter for my resignation, the leader of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council. Blerim Isufaj and Chief Special Prosecutor, Mr. Millaku's remains, where I stressed that the triggers would appear, confirm that some of them were reported, already.
- My resignation has two orders: Truth and Message!
As a protest, in terms of expressions of discontent and disagreement over an extremely politicised management, where high profile cases are hard to pass, and even when they get through, the whole process is blackmailed so that in later stages those cases fail because they are in the workplace.
As a message, this is true of our colleagues, that at no cost do we dare sell our principles and dignity, before our career promotion, or for our bosses, our non-deserved wages, different threats, other low-incentives, etc. Because with our approach from the servile, we are contributing to the destruction of our country and the hope of building a legal state, the effort and sacrifice of many generations, with the support of our friends (don't leave us without them!), who are losing them every day and more!
- I've been threatened!
When I accepted my job as a state prosecutor, I counted it all, and I knew myself I might be in danger. Yeah, I say I've been threatened before, and I've also included in the case of “Venterians”, but I've ignored all of this, even though I've made life so much more difficult for myself, and that's why I want to apologize to my family because they've suffered a lot, especially during the last year.
I've received calls from known and unknown persons, personally contacted and physically, conveying to me all sorts of messages and being called to the holy war of the NLA “that be careful where you are hi”, “be careful that you're going to stain my war values”, “why you're hurting the money of the state, don't you take the tyx5>, “, bona as the rest”, but all of these have gone through my work with the small working together with the finals of the state, do not take the test that I have yet to decide on the court, why I don't understand why the case is a specific. And to make it clear that I will continue to investigate and will not stop, despite tests for intimidation, all members of the State Commission for recognition and verification of veterans, I personally interviewed them.
The answer is yes... but where! !
At the height of these investigations, during interviews, Mr. State Prosecutor. Alexander Lumez urgently invites me to his office and calls me to account for why I invited him to interview Mr. Lumez. Kadri Veselin (even as a witness) in the case of “Venters”, reasoning “S ETA HAVE IMUNITY I HAVE NOT NEED THE THIRR”, however, why I have made it clear to her that the Constitutional Court in its interpretation “) at any time, in any circumstance or quality has granted immunity when it comes to criminal acts”... Also, the same one has opened the subject of the case “Pronto”, who has tried to scare me that if the indictment sent to the court, I'm going to send me to the disciplinary commission... while I've responded to “Latin for the first time, that I have a problem at the bottom.
I was honestly shocked at his level from then on, and for so long during a joint meeting after a week, in his office again, for the case “proto” where Mr. Millaku Reshat, Mrs. Light Hajdari, Mr. Lulzim Sylejmani, the same angry man, wanted an account, even screaming about why we've filed an indictment, and he also wanted to re-vise or reconsider the indictment that was sent to the court!! At this same shameless meeting, he told us how he met with some of the people now accused (such as Besim Beqaj) and that the results of his work did not please him by ordering one of his office prosecutors, Mr. Lulzim Sylejmani T OMANT E A CHOOSE SOJECTION, for some of us were refusing to review the decision made regarding the indictment that had already been sent to court!
From this moment on, I have fully understood who our Chief Prosecutor was. Alexander Lumez. After this meeting we're back in P The SRK, we're dealing with Chief Prosecutor of the PSRK Mr. The “Millaku for no other action in the case of “Veterians” will not inform Mr. Lumez, and even when we lift up the charge, IT IS sure that Mr. Lumez has been informed of his actions and deeds and that Mr. Resat Millaku for more than a month did not respond to me, holding the indictment which I signed with him, why all the evidence and paperwork are ready to go to court and that indictment, to that content and those accused, was not going and that I doubt even now I will go to court, despite the fact that Chief Prosecutor Milaku is still reasoning in some technical details and specification of the device to the indictment, is simply testifying to the will of those technical details, so let Aktak be sent to court! I'm sorry about Mr. We buy the Isufi I've had respect for, but I just want to let you know that the evidence was the ones that didn't allow me to get rid of Mr. Rrustem Berisha, despite his insistence!
I must know that this case has exposed the reality of what level, integrity, and morality we have, with what ease we abuse and steal our home and that with such behavior we are constantly insulting, sacrificing and beating of many generations, in particular those who have fought and fallen for this country. So, I appreciate that we should fear only one fact. E IT IS TURPE, and I, for no moment, refuse to be a state prosecutor and be ashamed because this is the greatest threat!!!
I announce public opinion that despite my personal will to address these problems within the system, I have had it impossible as it is possible that almost every prosecutor and official in the prosecutorial system to report these or any other violations, since the same system is already in the hands of a certain number of prosecutors who simply do not recognise law and procedures. In a normal state, citizens would ask whether the Porcurorial Council or the Association of Prosecutors has taken any action regarding my case since my resignation, I believe the answer you all now know. Woe!
In the end, I would like to thank all my colleagues, collaborators and investigators, who from the beginning of my responsibility as prosecutor have believed and supported us in our common work, ensuring that, wherever I am, in whatever position I am, I will work for a justice system with dignity, because this is today the law that should live.
