Pristina is made of public toilets, pro and anti-Video citizens

Summer activities in Pristina Square make the municipality provide public toilets for citizens and tourists.

Syndyze Miftar, citizen, thinks the capital needs public toilets but needs to be kept cleaner.

“Twaletes are necessary that they should go to local”, says Sydney Miftari citizen of Pristina.

Other citizens think toilets are necessary but must be placed in more appropriate locations.

In cities, it doesn't put these on me, shame to see someone”, says Emrullah Ahmeti.

Another citizen says these can only be used by men, but he doesn't believe women will handle their needs there.

Aslan Dravisha thinks the need for these toilets is, but the tradition in Kosovo is not.

The Pristina municipality says toilets are set for the period of the area of how many squares there are activities and tourists.

Halil Halili of the Public Services Directorate says these public toilets will soon be removed.

These are temporarily decided and will soon be removed, as we are at the end of the tourist season. These are also decided because of various activities organised by various municipalities, ministries or organisations”, says Halil Halili from the Public Services Directorate in Pristina.

Meanwhile, in the absence of public toilets in the capital, citizens have been forced to perform physical needs in local toilets or other areas where they are not allowed.
