“Today the European Parliament's Commission for Civil Rights, Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE) has reviewed and voted the Kosovo rapporteur's report, Tanja Fajon, for visa liberalisation for citizens of the Republic of Kosovo. This news is extremely positive and at the same time enables the opening of inter-institutional negotiations for final approval by the European Parliament and the Council of Ministers to enable the free movement of our citizens”.
The Republic of Kosovo will continue progress and demonstrate its commitment to meeting all criteria for visa liberalisation. Free movement with Schengen member states will enable greater trade, economic growth, as well as more opportunities for businesses and citizens.
