Lawyer Berisha: I suspect prosecutor Blakaj left the threat, left for a better life

Berisha, through a Facebook post, has said that “I don't believe at all that the cause of his resignation [Blaj] is one of the threats being mentioned in the media, nor is it the cause of the high profile indictment, which seems to have had no light yet”.

I believe that Mr. Blakaj has decided to leave the prosecution, therefore from Kosovo, for a better future for himself and his family, the same as many police officials have done over the years, not out of fear for their security, but out of uncertainty about their future”, Berisha has said.

We've taken this Special Prosecutor's Attorney's resignation very seriously, Mr. Elez Blakaj, although he still does not confirm the real reason for his resignation.

Getting to know Mr. President personally. Blakaj, I don't believe at all that his resignation is one of the threats that are being mentioned in the media, nor is it because of the high profile act, which seems to have lost light.

I believe that Mr. Blakaj has decided to leave the prosecution, therefore from Kosovo, for a better future for himself and his family, the same as many police officials have acted over the years, not out of fear of their own security, but out of uncertainty about their future.

Mr. Blakaj is a loss to all those who believed and invested in his education and professional advancement, but of course everyone else, even Mr. Blakaj is replaceable and will be replaced soon.

We can all do more for a system of justice better than we have. (like.) Berisha wrote.
