Hamiti: Albanians have their soul at birth, while politics in Brussels

Theologian Jabir Hamiti has said he has distorted his statement about who the Albanian spiritual centre is today.

I have no written or oral pronouncement, never and nowhere have I said that “Brussels is the spiritual centre of the Albanians”, Hamiti said of Telegrafi.

He has stressed that the Albanian spiritual centre of three concessions is the East, not Brussels.

And what I've said and what I'm saying, and I'm going to say again, whenever we're going to ask is, the spiritual center of the three profession Albanians is legal, from where all monotheistic religions come from, and the political center is Brussels”, Hamiti said.

According to him, those who, under today's circumstances created in Europe and the Balkans, seek another political centre, either are blind or ordered.

“Those who believe otherwise have the right to believe, because free thinking is individual right of each, but you have to be far out of the time, political and geopolitical context, to think that we have to find another political center in the world today to replace it with Brussels”, he added.

Hamiti considers that Albanians need allies for the future, not opponents.

“We, as a country, people and nation, need allies of all countries and peoples in the world, and we don't also need to be confronted by anyone, but where we need to be addressed politically for our future and our children, we don't have to have any clique”, Hamiti finally said.
