Having fanned the Kosovo Liberation Army veterans' lists, there is no dilemma. Such concern has been expressed to me by many fellow fighters, which has led me to demand to the end the investigation of this process.
I've asked from the beginning for this justice to speak its word. Any claims of fraud on veterans' lists must be investigated in a thorough and impartial manner.
I'm sorry about the KLA fighters that someone's trying to kick in.their contribution and sacrifices. But even this battle, to protect the values of our war, fellow fighters, we will win it, putting it to justice, with names and surnames, all who entered these lists without being freedom fighters.
It takes devoted and courageous people in every institution.
Elez Blakaj, a prosecutor whom the state of Kosovo had trusted, did not have the courage to bring this to the end, for which I have had my full support as a man, as a warrior and as an institutional and political leader.
He had thought of becoming a hero prosecutor without fighting crime, just like these frauds who want to become veterans without participating in the liberation war.
With statements from the United States not fighting crime, as long as the war has not been won with statements without taking part directly. In any case, that is the morality that you choose for yourself, which you also educate your children.
This process will go to the end, as far as any claim this prosecutor made will go to the bottom. The lists will be investigated. The truth will come out.
The state of Kosovo had entrusted Mr. Blakaj and his professionalism. With his departure, he shows he does not love the state of Kosovo.
Prosecutors who love the state of Kosovo, who live with spirit in this country, will complete this process.
Elez Blakay's departure from office should not be at all discouraging for the people of this country, especially for law professionals.
I assure Kosovo citizens that frauds of any kind can neither tarnish the glorious name of the Kosovo Liberation Army nor harm Kosovo's future.
