Dacia was launched under the “kuple” of the French group Renault from Sandero 2008, the second generation continued at the same pace in 2012, but the third planned for 2019 will bring a new model, Kosovo Press broadcast.
The new Sandero will be around 4.1m and will enter the compact car class in Golf.
New Sandero will be based on the same platform on which Renault says its famous model Clio, but should not be confused as a French asset belongs to a lower class because of the same damage to the Rapida and Peugeot model.
Advanced CMF-B architecture will provide the best security technology, such as the automatic emergency brakes, so the Dacia model can finally compete for five stars in the Euro NCAP security test.
Numerous changes will also affect the power units, and it is expected that the new Sandero generation will receive a new 1.0 litre Renault engine that will come in two versions of 75 and 90 horsepower.
Also available will be a 1.3 litre gasoline engine with 115 horsepower, developed by Renault in co-operation with Daimler. This would be the fastest Sandero in European history.
There's another diesel unit, tested for 1.5. dCi coming with AdBlue technology. It is estimated that the cheaper version will cost around 8,000 euros, and the most expensive in Stepway version has an initial price of 13,000 euros.
The third generation of Sandero reaches the end of 2019.
