Bulliqi: Serbia has looted materials for border with Kosovo

Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj during a conference held yesterday has indicated that shortly after the ratification of demarcation with Montenegro, he has asked the state Commission for border supervision to launch work on marking the border with Serbia. Haradinaj, however, said everyone knows where the border is between [...]
Haradinaj, however, said everyone knows where the border between Kosovo and Serbia is and that there is no conflicted situation between the two states.
Haradinaj's request has provided details to the chairman of the commission, Speed Bulliqi. He has stressed that jobs for this process have already begun.
In a proposal for Indexline, Bulliqi has said the document's contents cannot be declared, but only the Government.
It's true, the government/Prime Minister has asked us to start working around the border line with Serbia months ago. We have initially prepared the strategy, which can serve the government during handling this issue at the government level and political level. For details of what that document contains, it now belongs to the government, so I can't talk to a lot of”, Bulliqi said.
According to him, particular importance is dedicated to Kosovo not to repeat the concessions/mistakes of the past, as well as everything that is then accompanying those concessions as part of the process.
Our “Work as commission is permanent, the duty of the state commission is the entire Kosovo border line with neighbouring countries, due to the political sensibility that has not been sufficiently promoted around the border line with Serbia. We as a commission, understand what the border line is with Serbia is. There are factographic materials of various social sectors covering the area around the border line with Serbia”, Bulqi has posted.
As far as documentation is concerned, the chairman of the commission for border demarcation has said Serbia has done some manipulation with them, which may present problems for Kosovo.
There are other materials that Serbia has looted, which are very well manipulated, especially for the inside of Kosovo's territory (the question is for illegal cadastral offices through Serbia-Kosovo municipalities), and that is one of the elements of some of the property problems inside Kosovo. There may be claims from Serbia on any area, but we believe we can defend with evidence that every part of Kosovo belongs to Kosovo”, Bulqi has added.
On the other hand, he said the commission is aware of what's coming and who's on the other side of the table.
We as a commission are ready, and we are aware of what lies ahead, who we have on the other side of the table, whenever asked, we will take concrete actions (if any meeting is carried out with the Serbian side). We will address only technical issues about the existing border, no new borders, we will witness the existing border, we have no mandate either to give Kosovo territory, but neither to take what is not of Kosovo”, Bulqi has said further.
As far as results go, Bulqi has stressed that such a thing is not up to the commission, but politics.
“We do not know whether this mediating issue (Brussels) will be addressed or there will be direct meetings. So all of what I said is about the current Kosovo border line, without the options mentioned last month. Our mandate is only the existing” border, has ended Bulliqi.
