The U-16 European basketball championship started in Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina, a country in which young Kosovars have not been able to travel because they are not equipped with visas.
The decision came after FIBA has issued an ultimatum that the Federation of BiH Basketball will be punished if the Kosovo team does not get a visa to enter BiH.
As this paper reports, visas should be issued at the Skopje Embassy.
