The current I8, which the BMW introduced for the first time as its next electric car, has a three-liter, 1.5 litre cylinders enabled by an electric engine with 360 horsepower. The new generation can pick up a four-liter engine of 2.0 liters of more than 300 horsepower.
However, with power of 450 horsepower, BMW i8 will not be at the level of other highly performable hybrids.
