Biometric mirror: Reflection of defects in Artificial Intelligence

Artificial intelligence that ranks users according to physical and personality properties has been developed at the University of Melbourne and Melbourne Science Gallery, reports the BBC.

The biometric mirror compares photos from a database on which some 10,000 people have posted their own thoughts about the physical properties of others.

The project is designed to raise awareness about the shortcomings and shortcomings of artificial intelligence, the algorithm makes decisions based on other people's opinions, not facts, so it wants to start a debate on how IA is used.
