Apple wants this segment to grow to a new level, suggesting that iPhones be used as passports.
This has been shown by recently revealed patents in which the iPhone has the potential to be used as a passport with the help of a secure depot and the use of RFID.
The license also refers to increased use of passport equipment. They represent passports with a built chip containing information about the person, such as name, birth date, country of origin and similar.
This means that what Apple suggests does not represent the news, but only the pattern in another form.
There is no doubt an interesting idea where users will be able to store all their information on a device, but the question remains how security for such models works.
Since wise phones are sensitive to hackers, perpetrators, thefts, and others, the question is whether it makes sense to use something as sensitive as a passport.
