The ambulance that took him to the hospital immediately arrived at the scene, writes Indexline.
Fortunately, the actress has escaped with some body injuries of mild nature.
Police have confirmed that the driver was in regular condition, but the accident was instant.
Tierney became well known when in 2016 she had won a Golden Globe for her performance as Helen Sollowey in the “The Affair”.
