Emine Derhem, 78, from Tirana even though retired has been working for many years only to ensure her income to complete her trip to Hadzi.
Every Muslim believer dreams of experiencing the emotions of Hagi, one of the five conditions of Islam, uniting in the sacred lands of Saudi Arabia millions of believers from different parts of the world.
Believers provide income in various ways to realize Hagi, where not even those who work especially to provide income only for their journey in life.
And there are those among the believers who save from their income only with the intention of making their journey and their dream of Haxhi, and there is no shortage of the elderly.
Emine Derhem, 78, from Tirana even though retired has been working for many years just to ensure that she completes her trip for Haxhi, while today she is viewed by believers as an example of sacrifice, love of Islam, and a source of inspiration for young believers.
After allowing freedom of faith, which had been banned for many years in Albania during the communist regime, it shows that it started its way to the faith that he had long dreamed of.
Speaking of Anadolu Agency (AA), Derem tells of her travels to Haxhi, her emotions, her work and savings to realise Haxhi, and finally she excitedly shows the desire she still has to visit the holy lands.
I was a total of 14 times in sacred places, in Mecca and Medina. I was first in 1998. The first Hadi was the most curious, and they were many reasons. Our visits there were eagerly anticipated and religious rituals, the ritual of Hagi”, shows Derhem.
She says that everything is special in Hadge, the departure from Mecca to Mina, from Mina to Arafat, and all other rituals.
Allah made it new. When I was the first time, I enjoyed it and wanted to stay even longer. I think about Hagi and I feel like I'm there. When they set out on pilgrimage, I met them, and this was a pleasure to me”, she said.
I only did the work out of my pension for Hagi, where until I was 70 years old I worked and saved my income and went to Hadge with those savings. Hadn't been high for Hagi today. I hope to go to Hadge again, because that's where I didn't feel the tiredness”, says Derhem.
For young people, he says that he prays to God to enable you to travel for Hadge, only by thinking about it.
Mother Amy reports that for health reasons, she has not been able to travel to holy lands for Hagi, but she wants to go again, and she prays that she will enjoy good health.
It finally shows that it has met the pilgrims from Albania who left this year, experiencing their emotions, and hoping that it will still be part of this journey of life for every Muslim believer.
