264 prosecutors, judges investigated for 7 months in Kosovo

Prosecutor's Disciplinary Office Director Arian Salihu's task officer, Arian Salihu, has indicated that in this office only for the first seven months of this year, citizens have filed 264 complaints against judges and prosecutors. Salihu, in an interview with “Zrin”, also spoke of the Bill of Disciplinary Responsibilities of Judges and Prosecutors, through which the disappearance of this office is envisioned.
Fewer than 264 Kosovo judges and prosecutors have been investigated by the Criminal Prosecutor's Office (ZPD) for disciplinary violations only within the first seven months of this year.
From January to July, Kosovo citizens have filed in the ZPD over 300 complaints against judges and prosecutors of possible disciplinary violations.
Out of 264 of these complaints 210 have been to judges and 54 to prosecutors, under suspicion of the same having committed indecent conduct, which is involved in the extent of disciplinary violations.
