(8 years ago)The Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning, based on media and municipal environmental inspectorate reports from the Malisheva municipality, concerning the phenomenon of showing fish deaths on the flow of the Mirusha River and at the location from Banjaisheva to the town of Malisheva, is undertaking necessary measures [...]
The MMPH water inspector, based on the presence of municipal inspector at the site, has instructed the inspector to obtain water samples from the Mirusha River for further water tests to identify the causes of fish deaths.
In this respect, Kosovo's Hydrotechnology Institute after accepting water samples from the site is doing tests in the laboratory to verify whether the quality of water has affected the death of fish.
The results on water quality will be reported after the completion of the sample lab analysis brought to the Institute”, the MMPH report said.
The MMPH will keep you informed about this case, and also encourages citizens to co-operate with the bodies responsible for any information about the causes that may have caused this phenomenon.
