Tinder Loops, the recently announced video feature from Tinder, is now running global.

Tinder has tested this trait in Canada and Sweden since April, when it was first announced and has since appeared in several other markets. Today, Loops are available for Tinder users in the following markets: Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States, France, Korea, Australia, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Russia, Sweden, Belgium, Denmark, Ireland, England, Norway, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, and the United Arab Emirates.

Loops are two-second videos that can be posted on user profiles. Users cannot record “Time Loops” inside the app, but must load and edit existing videos in their camera rotation or load a photo Live from an IOS device.

Tinder is also extending the number of images you can set in your account to nine, in order to create space for Loops without moving existing photos. Given that Tinder has tested functions since early April, the company now has more data about how Tinder Loops have worked for users.

At the time of Instagram and Tinder, people use photos to represent themselves online. But with all the editing tools there, this also means that photos are not always the most accurate portrayal of personality or appearance. Videos in Tinder offer a new way to get to know someone who they are.
