Thaci warns Serbia of treatment of Albanians in Valley, reproves the EU too

At the time debates have begun over the idea of partitioning or exchanging territories with Serbia, President Hashim Thaci has intensified media conferences, but also meetings with representatives of the Presevo Valley Albanians.

So did President Hashim Thaci, who has warned not only Serbia but also the European Union of inadequate treatment of the Valley Albanians.

The “intended has direct information about the many problems, needs and challenges facing citizens in the Presevo Valley. As president of Kosovo and all Kosovo institutions, we have an obligation to listen to the problems we are facing for their problems, Thaci said, writes Periscope.

Kosovo cannot close its eyes forever before the injustices and contempt of the Presevo Valley. Serbia, which the EU has offered even a date or period of time for EU membership, is tasked with restoring community rights and even Albanians living there. Unfortunately, Serbia is still far from fulfilling the rights of Albanians who are there. “There is nothing unusual and there is no secrecy and no one should fear the legitimate interest of Kosovo state institutions in formally solving problems with Serbia's authorities I promise all the Albanians in the Valley that Kosovo, its institutions will use every democratic means to protect and advance democratic and national rights for Albanians in the Valley. The EU cannot apply double standards when it is in question to protect communities in Kosovo or Serbia”, Thaci has said, writes Periscopi.

Meanwhile, representatives of the Valley at this meeting have called on President Thaci to make a long-term solution during talks with Serbia./Periscopi/
