MZHE calls energy community concerns groundless for “New Kosovo”

The Vienna-based Energy Community had come out last month, taking a stand in which it had criticised the deal with the American company “Contour Global”, with the argument that the agreement represents state aid and as such is contrary to the European Union's energy regulations.
But these worries M ZHE called them baseless.
According to this ministry, disagreements over the new thermal power plant will not affect Kosovo's relations with the Energy Community, Koha Ditore writes today.
“It is true that the Energy Community has raised some concerns about project T contracts New Kosovo. But since we've analyzed these concerns, we have found that they don't stand as such, and in this case we've started activities to give them the necessary clarifications to resolve this matter”, the MZHE response says.
