“Montenegro will not withdraw the decision to recognise states”, Markovik has said by alluding to Montenegro's Serb efforts to attract the recognition of Kosovo's independence.
The Serbian Orthodox Church, but and official Serbian politics, accuse Podgorica of treason after it recognised Kosovo's independence in 2010. ,
The KOS accuses Montenegrin authorities of allegedly discriminating the Serbs in Montenegro.
