French President Emmanuel Macron has claimed responsibility for one of his bodyguards who had intervened in one of the protesters' crowds in Paris.
He was declared after a meeting with his party ministers and parliamentarians, as he has long been silent about the issue, Klan Kosova reports.
“The only person responsible is me” was quoted as saying Macron according to the MPs.
His former bodyguard Alexander Benalla has reportedly acted violently against a demonstrators in a 1 May police operation in Paris.
He is said to have worn a police helmet and a police tape, even though he had not been on duty as a police officer.
