During an interview for RT television, Lavrov said the <x0ideal would be to reconcile, open all channels for all issues that divide us... but also for those issues that we can constructively co-operate with”.
He said bilateral relations for the time being constitute little more than “sporadical meetings between diplomats and the army”, and, largely, according to him, these meetings concern civil war in Syria.
Lavrov also said that Russia “is ready to answer any questions”, which concerns the alleged intervention of Russian intelligence into Democrat Party computers during the campaign for American presidential elections in 2016.
Lavrov's comments came only a day after the United States filed charges against 12 Russian intelligence officials for alleged election intervention.
